Chelsea begin life under Maurizio Sarri in the Premier League tomorrow, with the Blues travelling to face Huddersfield Town in west Yorkshire.

It has been an incredibly busy few days for the Blues, who signed Kepa Arrizabalaga and Mateo Kovacic while also witnessing an exit for Thibaut Courtois as the Belgium international sealed a transfer to Real Madrid.

After finishing outside the Champions League spots last season, Chelsea are determined to rise back into the top-four this season andĀ Sky SportsĀ pundit Paul Merson has backed the Blues to enjoy an ideal start to life under Sarri.

In his weekly Premier League predictions, the former Arsenal defender tipped Chelsea to beat Huddersfield 2-0 and explained his decision by stating:

“Huddersfield have got to start well. David Wagner performed miracles keeping them up last season and they were helped by a good start. This is a really tough game for them.

“Chelsea have their problems but I just feel they’ll have too much for Huddersfield. They went there last season and were a class above, and they’ll want to impress their new manager.”
