Chelsea are in the hunt for reinforcements in the final few days of the transfer window as Maurizio Sarri prepares for his debut campaign in the Premier League.

The Blues are in the hunt for a new attacker amidst speculation linking both Eden Hazard and Willian with an exit from Stamford Bridge and have turned their attention towards Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.

The Mirror reports Chelsea are leading the hunt to sign the former Manchester United man after Tottenham dropped their interest in the £75m-rated Ivory Coast international, setting up a potential swoop before Thursday evening’s transfer deadline.

25-year-old Zaha was a key part of Crystal Palace’s squad last season in their successful fight to avoid relegation, scoring nine goals and providing a further three assists in 29 Premier League appearances.

He could be seen as the ideal replacement for Belgium international Hazard, who continues to be widely linked with a move to Real Madrid.
