Chelsea are expected to see a major overhaul of the squad in the final week of the transfer window, as Maurizio Sarri prepares for his debut season at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues could see a number of young talents leave on-loan, as is customary for the west London side, andĀ The Daily MailĀ states Aston Villa are eyeing a move to bring England international Tammy Abraham to Villa Park.

20-year-old Abraham excelled for Bristol City in 2016-17, scoring 23 goals in 41 appearances, and spent last year on-loan with Swansea City, scoring five goals and earning two appearances for England’s senior side but was unable to save the south Wales club from relegation.

Four of those goals were scored in the opening eight matches but Abraham was unable to provide consistency, suffering from an injury problem, and would prefer another crack at the Premier League in the upcoming season.

Suitors seem short though and a move to promotion hopefuls Villa could rekindle his scoring touch.
