Chelsea could see a vast amount of business occur at Stamford Bridge in the coming week, as Maurizio Sarri looks to rejuvenate his squad.

Changes in the club’s options up front are likely, amidst speculation that the Blues are eyeing the likes of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain, which increases the likelihood of forward departures.

The MirrorĀ states Valencia are expressing an interest in Belgium’s World Cup semi-finalist Michy Batshuayi, who spent the second-half of last season on-loan with Borussia Dortmund and impressed by netting seven goals in ten Bundesliga appearances.

24-year-old Batshuayi is seeking first-team assurances and, despite Sarri making it clear he has a spot for him in his side, could look to force an exit to a club where he would be considered the lead man – rather than the supporting cast role he would get at Stamford Bridge.

Valencia can offer Kante Champions League football in return but persuading Chelsea into a deal will be a tough ask.
