Chelsea are in the hunt for attacking reinforcements in the final few days of the summer transfer window, where there could be significant departures.

Eden Hazard and Willian are both widely linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge, which has put Chelsea on the hunt for potential replacements – and one reported target has confirmed the Blues are keen on his services.

Quoted by CalcioMercato, Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey confirmed that there is ‘concrete interest’ in his signature from Liverpool and Chelsea – although he also suggested he was ready to fight for the Bundesliga title with his current employers this season.

“We want to play for the title. Bayern Munich is one of the three strongest teams in the world for me, but in football you never know. We have to be focused, then we can do a lot with our quality to reach our goal.”

Born in Jamaica, the 20-year-old has been tipped to switch his national allegiance to England in the future.
