Chelsea are set to endure a busy six weeks until the end of the summer transfer window, with the Blues’ activity in the market delated by their ongoing managerial saga.
A solution to the mess finally looks to be on the cards though and summer deals are right around the corner, though Chelsea may have to fend off a number of rival clubs in the market as they seek to keep their squad intact.
The Telegraph states that Newcastle United remain keen on the services of Kenedy, who starred at St. James’ Park during the second-half of last season, and Rafael Benitez wants to bring him in as part of a £35m double-deal alongside Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Valon Berisha.
Chelsea are yet to decide whether to stick or twist with 22-year-old Brazil ace Kenedy, who is keen on first-team football, and any final decision is likely to come down to who is appointed for the forthcoming campaign.
