Chelsea are set for significant changes in the coming weeks as they seek to rejuvenate their squad under the guidance of Maurizio Sarri and an ideal deal could have landed on their plate.

CalcioMercato state AC Milan are ready to offer Gianluigi Donnarumma to the Blues as makeweight for a deal for Alvaro Morata, who Chelsea are ready to offload following a disappointing debut campaign in the Premier League after signing from Real Madrid last year.

Milan have been crippled by UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, finding themselves banned from European competitions, and will have to sell to sell in order to purchase – so offloading Donnarumma for Morata would kill two birds with one stone.

Chelsea may be open to a deal as they look increasingly likely to lose the services of Thibaut Courtois, who is being chased by Real Madrid as he has entered the final 12 months of his contract with the Premier League side.
