Chelsea have seen a lot of speculation orientate around some key-players at Stamford Bridge but have received a positive update in the market.
Champions League winners Real Madrid have been heavily linked with Belgium duo Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois, while recent reports have suggested that Los Blancos have entered the running to land Willian.
However, Marca states that Courtois is the only member of Chelsea’s squad that the LaLiga giants are looking to land this summer as they seek to take advantage of the fact that the stopper has entered the final 12 months of his deal at Stamford Bridge.
While Real Madrid are also keen on the talents of Hazard, a deal bringing the former Lille man to the Santiago Bernabeu would likely exceed the £100m mark – and that’s a figure the club are not prepared to pay.
Julen Lopetegui’s side are currently waiting on Chelsea to resolve their goalkeeping situation before making a push for Courtois, as they have until the end of August to complete a deal.
