Chelsea are ready to invest in their squad at Stamford Bridge after finally landing Maurizio Sarri as their new boss, with exciting deals touted for the coming weeks.

The Blues are under threat of losing a number of key-players to European giants, with Real Madrid chasing Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard while Barcelona have recently lodged a third bid to land Brazil international Willian.

Those departures would leave Chelsea in the market for replacements and the potential losses of both Hazard and Willian is a major concern as it would leave the Blues lacking options on the right side – but Sarri has a plan.

According to The Sunday TimesChelsea remain interested in the services of Manchester United’s France international Anthony Martial and could make a move to land the 22-year-old from their Premier League rivals.

Martial is frustrated with his lack of playing opportunities under Jose Mourinho and has also attracted the interest of Bayern Munich, although matching his £90m valuation will prove to be difficult for any interested party.
