Chelsea remain in the hunt for new signings following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri and a new winger is a top agenda.

The Blues are under severe risk of losing both Eden Hazard and Willian in the transfer market, who are attracting interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively, and will need a replacement if they lose either of the pair.

Sarri’s side were encouraged following the emergence of claims that Bayer Leverkusen ace Leon Bailey was pushing for an exit but will now face a stern fight in the market alongside Roma, according to The Evening Standard.

Roma, preparing for their fifth consecutive season in the Champions League, are seeking a wide player after seeing Barcelona come in with an eleventh-hour bid to snatch Brazil starlet Malcom from under their noses.

20-year-old Bailey, valued at £40.5m by TransferMarkt, was born in Jamaica but has been tipped to feature for England in the future.
