Chelsea are in the hunt for new additions in the market following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri and it appears their new boss is ready to make a bold call.

Italian outletĀ La Gazzetta Dello SportĀ state the Blues are ready to approve a swap deal with Inter Milan that would see Tiemoue Bakayoko move to the San Siro, with Chelsea landing the services of Mattia Vecino in return.

Vecino impressed for Uruguay at the World Cup in Russia, while Bakayoko struggled for consistency in his debut Premier League season after signing from Monaco – failing to step-up following the sale of Nemanja Matic to Manchester United.

The report adds a prospective agreement could take off in the coming days, with Chelsea eagerly looking to complete a number of deals in the market before the Premier League transfer window slams shut midway through August – earlier than in previous years following changes approved last season.
