Chelsea have a host of young talent amidst their crop and, as usual, a number of loan exits are expected ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Some of Chelsea’s youngsters could be heading to the Championship to link-up with Blues legend Frank Lampard, who’s set for his first managerial stint in charge of Derby County, and he’s said to have his eyes on a defender from his old side.

The Daily Mirror statesĀ Lampard is keen on bringing 20-year-old England defender Jay Dasilva to Pride Park, who impressed on-loan in League One with Charlton Athletic last year – winning the club’s Young Player of the Year award.

Charlton are keen to bring Dasilva back to the club for next season but Chelsea may consider a spell in the Championship as the next step in the youngster’s development, as they nurture a player who’s said to be better at his age than former Blues ace Ashley Cole.
