European outfit plotting ambitious swoop to land Chelsea defender

Chelsea face a wealth of tasks to complete in the summer transfer window and significant pieces of business are likely to occur at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are seeking significant improvements to their squad after missing out on Champions League football next season, although they could also have to cope with potential losses within their ranks.

French outlet RMC Sport state Turkish giants Galatasaray are eyeing a swoop for Chelsea’s France defender Kurt Zouma, leading the 23-year-old defender to seek discussions with the Blues regarding his future.

Zouma spent last season on-loan with Stoke City and was one of the shining lights for the Potters in a campaign which saw the Staffordshire side suffer relegation to the Championship.

While another loan move away from Stamford Bridge could be a possibility, Zouma could be tempted to make a fresh start in his career despite only signing a new five-year deal last summer.
