Chelsea are in the market for a new forward, with it widely reported that the club will look to offload Alvaro Morata just one-year after his arrival from Real Madrid.

The Spain international, who missed out on a spot in his nation’s World Cup squad, has struggled for consistency and is now deemed to be surplus to requirements, as the Blues look to offload Morata in order to fund a move for a top-class striking target.

However, German outlet Sport Bild state that Chelsea will have to part with a staggering €200m if they’re to land Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich as the Bundesliga champions are not keen on a sale.

The Poland international, currently preparing for the World Cup in Russia, has informed the Bavarian giants of his intention to leave this summer, with Real Madrid also eyeing his services, but Bayern are playing hardball.

Bayern want to show that their club holds the power and will eye a staggering figure if Lewandowski is to be sold, with the saga likely to rumble on until after Poland’s campaign in Russia.
