Chelsea have plenty of work to do in the summer transfer window and, while the focus will orientate around incoming deals, there’s also set to be a number of outgoings from Stamford Bridge.
One player widely linked with a departure in the coming months is Brazil ace Kenedy, who spent the second-half of last season on-loan with Newcastle United and helped to push the Magpies towards Premier League safety.
Rafael Benitez’s side are keen to sign Kenedy again next season, ideally on a loan due to their limited finances, but The Chronicle states Chelsea are looking to offload the 22-year-old on a permanent basis.
The Blues are said to value Kenedy at around £20m, which means that Newcastle will have to set a new club-record amount in the market if they’re to bring the South American starlet to St. James’ Park.
A number of other sides are also keen on Kenedy’s services, including the likes of Arsenal and Bayern Munich, so Chelsea can expect at least one club to match their demands.
