Chelsea could be rocked by a number of significant departures this summer, with speculation already suggesting that first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will move away from Stamford Bridge.

The Belgium international is set to enter the final year of his contract with the Blues and, with the club having failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League, is widely reported to be eyeing an exit – with a return to Spain the most likely scenario.

Despite not yet landing a replacement for Antonio Conte, Chelsea are pushing ahead with their activity in the market and Spanish outlet Sport claims the Blues are keen on Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen as a replacement for Courtois.

Cillessen has played second-fiddle to Marc Andre Ter Stegen during his time in Catalonia and is willing to consider an exit if first-team guarantees are offered – although it’s also stated that Arsenal are also eyeing the 29-year-old Holland international.

However, Barcelona have insisted Cillessen is not for sale and any interested side would have to meet his mammoth €60m release clause to secure a deal.
