Chelsea are linked with a whole host of additions in the summer transfer market but an agent has revealed the Blues have pulled out of the pursuit of a highly-rated midfielder.

Marseille ace Morgan Sanson has been widely linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all in the hunt for the 23-year-old, who is said to be eyeing a new venture away from the Ligue 1 side.

However, the Blues have ended their pursuit and are instead eyeing alternatively targets in the market, according to Sanson’s agent Michael Manuello.

“Chelsea will not go any further, they are looking at other things. Tottenham are looking at Morgan – very much so. Arsenal are looking at him also, but I don’t know what Unai Emery will want.”

Capped 11 times by France’s U21 side, Sanson is tipped to become a star for Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus in the coming years after the upcoming World Cup in Russia.
