Chelsea are ready to go all-out in the transfer market to significantly bolster their attacking lines, amidst speculation that the club are prepared to accept a departure for Alvaro Morata.
The Spain striker has struggled for consistency since arriving from Real Madrid for a club-record fee last summer and is attracting interest from a number of Serie A clubs, where he previously impressed with Juventus.
In the search for a replacement, Chelsea have emerged as strong suitors for the services of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and the Poland international, set to star for his nation in the World Cup in Russia, has handed the Blues a significant boost.
The 29-year-old has recently hired a new agent to push through a transfer, Pini Zahavi, and he’s stated his client is pushing for an exit. Speaking to Sport Bild, he said:
“Robert feels he needs a change and a new challenge in his career. The managers of Bayern know about it.”
The Israeli agent is said to have played a huge part in Neymar’s record-breaking switch from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain last season and has close ties with Chelsea.
