Chelsea are set for a major rebuild this summer after a disappointing campaign saw them finish outside of the Champions League places.

The forward ranks will be significantly rejuvenated and a major decision has reportedly been made, with the club looking to stick with Michy Batshuayi but are willing to approve an exit for Alvaro Morata.

The Daily Mirror states Borussia Dortmund are keen on both forwards but, having seen Belgium international Batshuayi excel on-loan with the Bundesliga side, will not be able to make a deal permanent.

Chelsea want the forward back at Stamford Bridge next season but they’re prepared to sell Morata after a disappointing debut campaign for the Spain international in the Premier League – and Dortmund are keen on his signature.

The German giants are in the market for a top-class forward after losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal in January and will be disappointed by the fact they can’t sign Batshuayi, after the 24-year-old netted seven goals in ten appearances on-loan.

Fighting for Morata’s signature will also be extremely difficult, as Juventus are also attributed with an interest in the striker.
