Chelsea are looking to make major changes in the summer transfer window and are reportedly considering a huge move on the market.

According to reports from Spanish radio station Cadena Ser and also Rome-based Italian newspaper Il Messaggero,  the Blues are looking to offer Alvaro Morata as makeweight in a deal to bring Mauro Icardi to Stamford Bridge.

Inter Milan skipper Icardi has excelled in Italian football once again this season, scoring 29 goals in 34 games, but still failed to secure a spot in Argentina’s World Cup squad and is also a controversial figure at the San Siro.

Inter have been attributed as the latest Italian side to express an interest in Morata, alongside Juventus and AC Milan, and could find themselves at the front of the queue if Chelsea look to land Icardi in return.

It’s stated the offer from the Blues will come alongside €35-40m, which would be difficult for Inter to reject as they balance Financial Fair Play regulations ahead of their return to the Champions League next season.
