Chelsea are expected to complete plenty of business in the transfer market this summer, as the Blues seek to rebuild after failing in their objective of qualifying for the Champions League.

A number of departures are expected from Stamford Bridge, with manager Antonio Conte likely to be one of the first men out the door, and Brazilian starlet Kenedy has dropped a hint to suggest that he could follow.

The youngster excelled in the second-half of the season on-loan with Newcastle United and the Magpies are keen to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent basis, though it’s unclear whether Chelsea would approve a sale.

However, Kenedy has dropped a hint to suggest he could move across the Premier League by stating ‘maybe one day I’ll be back’ – providing Rafael Benitez’s side with hope in the transfer market.

Speaking to Newcastle’s official website, Kenedy said:

“I was glad to come here to Newcastle, one of the biggest clubs in England, and I really appreciated the chance to play. I’d like to thank Rafa Benitez because he trusted in me. I really enjoyed my time here – it was very good.”

“All the players, all the staff, they made me feel at home. I felt good. I gained confidence from the amazing support and I really enjoyed it. Maybe one day I will be back.”
