Chelsea are expected to see significant departures from Stamford Bridge this summer and a number of highly-rated young talents could be on their way out of the club.
The Pink UnĀ reports Norwich City and Sheffield United are both keen on the services of Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer, who’s likely to spend another season away from the west London side on-loan.
Midfielder Palmer played a key-part in Huddersfield Town’s promotion campaign to the Premier League in 2016/17 and returned to the Terriers last season, where he struggled to earn appearances, and then spent the second-half of the campaign on-loan with Derby County, and is keen to earn further experience in the second-tier.
Norwich and Sheffield United are both looking to fight for promotion to the Premier League next season and believe Palmer would provide a significant boost in their quest, although a final decision is likely to be made by Chelsea’s next manager.
Antonio Conte is expected to be dismissed imminently and a new boss may present Palmer with a chance in the first-team or even consider selling the 21-year-old permanently.
