Chelsea look set for a major fight to keep hold of their prized players in the market this summer, as club’s across Europe could take advantage of the Blues’ absence from the Champions League.

Among those regularly linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge is Belgium ace Eden Hazard, who’s likely to star at the World Cup this summer, and Spanish outlet Don Balon state Zinedine Zidane has instructed Real Madrid to purchase the dazzling winger.

Hazard is eyed as the long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo but could be drafted in this summer to play alongside the Portugal superstar, with the former Manchester United man playing centrally in attack – supported by Hazard and Gareth Bale out wide.

Real Madrid will have to part with a significant sum of cash to lure Chelsea into a sale but Hazard may find it difficult to turn down the advances of the Spanish giants, particularly given their recent dominance of European football.
