Monaco are interested in re-signing Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea in the summer, according to the Guardian.

The midfielder has failed to impress since joining from the Ligue One club for £40m in July, and has only made the bench for the Blues’ last three Premier League games.

Despite his struggles, there are supporters of Bakayoko within the club who believe the 23 year old has the ability to be a top player, but there has been little sign of that potential in his first season at Stamford Bridge.

A decision on his future will likely be made once a new manager is in place if Antonio Conte does leave the club at the end of the current campaign.

The French international arrived in England with a knee injury, but even after he returned to full fitness, he has failed to perform in a Blues shirt, having scored three goals and provided three assists in 37 matches this season.
