Chelsea are willing to offer Real Madrid attacking midfielder Marco Asensio £150,000 a week to make the move to Stamford Bridge, according to Diario Gol.
The Spanish website reports that the Blues are keen on making substantial improvements to their playing squad, and would double his €4.5m a season that he currently earns.
Currently, Asensio is more keen on staying put at the Bernabeu, but he has given the club two conditions for staying.
The 22 year old wants to become an integral member of the starting eleven. This season, he has been in and out of the side under manager Zinedine Zidane, and wants to have a more important role next term.
Secondly, he does want a pay rise but he is willing to stay for less than Chelsea are willing to offer. Asensio only signed a new six year deal back in September.
The Spanish international has played 45 matches in all competitions this season, scoring ten goals and providing four assists.
