Leicester City are weighing up a move for Borussia Monchengladbach attacking midfielder Thorgan Hazard, according to Bild (via the Sun).
The German publication reports that the Foxes are keen on the Belgian international as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who has become unsettled after interest from Manchester City.
Sport Bild also revealed last month that Chelsea have first refusal on Eden’s younger brother. The option was included in the deal when they sold Hazard to Gladbach back in 2015, and it means that if Leicester do make an offer for the player, the Blues will have an opportunity to match it.
In an interview with T-Online.de recently, the 24 year old said he wasn’t sure about a move back to Chelsea, and he didn’t believe he was quite ready to make a return to Stamford Bridge.
Hazard has been impressing in the Bundesliga this season. In 21 league appearances, he has scored seven goals and contributed seven assists.
