Paris Saint-Germain have targeted Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to Le10 Sport.

The Italian international has a release clause of €25m (£22.25m), and is said to be also attracting the interest of Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

PSG have looked to sign a number of young players in recent years, with Kylian Mbappe and Goncalo Guedes two notable signings.

Pellegrini is only 21 years of age, and is believed to have a big career ahead of him. He was only signed by Roma from Sassuolo in the summer, but the presence of the release clause means many teams are keen on snapping up the playmaker.

TMW reported last week that the Giallorossi are keen to remove the clause by offering the Italian a new contract.

The Italian website believe the Serie A side’s sporting director Monchi will meet with the player in the next few weeks in order to secure his long term future at the Stadio Olimpico.
