Bayer Leverkusen will only consider selling Leon Bailey for €50m (£44.5m) in the summer, according to Sport Bild (via Sport Witness).

The Jamaican is in high demand after some excellent performances in the Bundesliga this season, with Arsenal and Manchester United also reportedly in hot pursuit of the 20 year old.

Chelsea were said to have made a £22m offer to Leverkusen for Bailey in the January transfer window, but the bid was rejected by the German club.

It seems that the Blues will have to pay double what they have previously offered for the talented wide man, and we will have to wait and see whether such an asking price will deter the London club.

Bailey was on Chelsea’s radar before Leverkusen signed the winger from Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Racing Genk last year, but the midfielder has moved on to another level this campaign.

In 20 appearances in all competitions, the Jamaican starlet has scored ten goals, and contributed five assists.
