Real Madrid may opt against making a bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan publication reports that the Spanish club are considering making a move for Roma stopper Alisson instead, as they see the Brazilian as a better signing in terms of value.

Real will be undergoing a massive overhaul at the end of the season after a campaign which has seen them fall well behind in the race for the La Liga title, as well as being knocked out of the Copa Del Rey.

They will reportedly be prioritising five signings: Eden Hazard, Harry Kane, Inter Milan centre back Milan Skriniar, Real Sociedad right backĀ Alvaro Odriozola, and potentially even Neymar.

Spending will reach the hundreds of millions, and this may mean a move for Courtois could be curtailed, leaving the Belgian international free to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge instead.
