Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool will have to wait until after the World Cup to find out whether Real Madrid playmaker Isco will be leaving the Bernabeu, according to Don Balon.
The Spanish publication reports that the three Premier League clubs have all made their interest known in the 25 year old, with City said to be prepared to offer €150m (£131m) for the player, and Liverpool looking to bid €100m.
It seems the Blues would have to break their transfer record if they did want to pursue Isco in the summer. Their current record fee was the £58m they spent on Alvaro Morata last summer, and the London club’s good relationship with Real could prove useful.
Isco is said to be unhappy with his playing situation at the Bernabeu, although he has been a regular for the La Liga side this season with 30 appearances in all competitions.
It is likely however that Real will undergo a massive transformation in the playing squad in the summer, and much may depend on whether the Spanish international survives the cull.
