Fiorentina are weighing up a move for Chelsea attacking midfielder Charly Musonda, according to SportItalia (via TMW).
The Italian TV network report the Viola are considering making a loan offer for the Belgian Under 21 international, but with a purchase option included in the deal.
Chelsea are unlikely to accept such a proposal, considering Musonda only signed a new four and a half year contract back in December. The Blues are said to be open to loaning out the 21 year old, but they don’t want the player to leave on a permanent basis.
Reports from Belgium have suggested the midfielder is keen on a temporary move abroad, specifically to Spain, but Chelsea are adamant that the player remains in the UK.
Musonda has not had much first team action in the Premier League, and it is believed the London club want him to experience English football on an extended loan spell.
Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest are two teams that have been mentioned as possible destinations, while Scottish champions Celtic have also been tipped to make an offer for the Belgian starlet.
