Roma striker will take a “few hours” today to decide whether he wants to join Chelsea, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper reports that the Blues are close to agreeing a transfer for the 31 year old, with the Serie A club keen on selling if Chelsea agree to add €5m in bonuses to their €30m offer for the player.

Dzeko’s agent has reportedly been in daily contact with the London club, discussing personal terms and the player’s visa. La Gazzetta report that these issues will be sorted out today and tomorrow, but the final say will be the striker’s.

The former Manchester City player is said to be happy being first choice at Roma, and he is considering whether a return to the Premier League would be the right move for him.

He has three main concerns about the move. Unlike at Roma, he won’t be able to play in the Champions League because he has played in the competition already this season with the Giallorossi.

Secondly, he knows he will have to dislodge Alvaro Morata as the club’s first choice striker, and thirdly he doesn’t know if manager Antonio Conte will even be the club’s manager next season.
