Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could join Borussia Dortmund on loan, according to the Mirror.
The Bundesliga club are looking for a replacement for Arsenal bound Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and have set their sights on the Belgian international.
However, it is not known whether Batshuayi’s exit is dependent on the Blues signing a forward themselves. The Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via Football-Italia.net) reports that Roma striker Edin Dzeko is unlikely to make the switch to the Premier League.
This could have a knock on effect on a number of transfers. If Dzeko’s move doesn’t go ahead, Batshuayi may not leave, which could also stop Aubameyang joining Arsenal.
Sky Sports report that the Gabonese striker’s £60m move to the Gunners is “subject to Dortmund securing a replacement.”
Speaking about Batshuayi after the striker scored a brace against Newcastle at the weekend, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte would not be drawn on the 24 year old’s future, stating an exit on loan was the “player’s decision.”
