Chelsea will have to pay up to €65million (£57.5m) for Roma pair Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri, according to Sky Sport Italia (via Calciomercato.com).

The Blues have reportedly proposed €50m (£44m) for the two players, but the Serie A club want an additional €15m to meet their valuation.

Dzeko is a key player for manager Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco, and the club are said to be very reluctant to let the Bosnian international leave the Stadio Olimpico.

However, it seems the Italian side are prepared to do a deal at the right price. Palmieri’s agent Fernando Garcia has confirmed that the left back is open to a move to Chelsea, with manager Antonio Conte reportedly a massive draw for him.

The Dzeko transfer looks a lot more uncertain though. The 31 year old is a regular for the Giallorossi with 12 goals in 26 appearances this season, and his agent has stated that he is happy at Roma.
