Chelsea and Arsenal have enquired about Watford forward Richarlison, according to Yahoo Sports‘ Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola.

The 21 year old had a strong start to the season for the Hornets, and it is believed that the Blues and the Gunners have asked about the availability of the player with his agent Renato Velasco, and Watford.

Chelsea tried to sign Richarlison from Fluminense in the summer. They reportedly offered £12m for the Brazilian as they looked to secure the services of a promising young talent.

However, the attacker preferred a switch to Vicarage Road where he believed he would get more game time. The decision looked to have paid off with 25 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign.

Despite scoring five goals, and providing five assists, Richarlison’s form has trailed off markedly, and he has now gone 12 games without scoring. The last time he hit the back of the net was in the 2-0 win over West Ham back in November.
