Bournemouth will look to sign Chelsea attacking midfielder Charly Musonda on loan for the rest of the season, according to theĀ Evening Standard.

The Belgian Under 21 international is unlikely to figure much in Antonio Conte’s first team plans for the remainder of the campaign, and the Blues want the 21 year old to gain first team appearance at an English club.

The Cherries are not the only club looking at Musonda, with teams from both the Premier League and the Championship also interested in snapping up the player. However, Chelsea will only let the player leave Stamford Bridge if he is guaranteed minutes on the pitch.

This season the midfielder has played just six times for the first team, with just two starts, both coming in the Carabao Cup.

Musonda was only a substitute against Norwich City in the FA Cup at the weekend. It was game many saw as a perfect starting opportunity for the Belgian, but he only managed to play 12 minutes of the encounter at Carrow Road.
