Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to Bild.

The German tabloid reports the Bundesliga club see the Belgian international as an ideal replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is said to be close to joining Arsenal.

The Gunners were reportedly prepared to offer Dortmund £35m plus Olivier Giroud for the Gabon forward, but it seems the Frenchman is not willing to be a part of the deal.

Batshuayi was a target for the German side before he joined Chelsea from Marseille 18 months ago, and it looks like a permanent switch to the Bundesliga could now be on the cards for the 24 year old.

One additional complication though, could be Sevilla’s reported agreement with the Blues over signing the striker on loan. Estadio Deportivo have said that a €1.5m loan fee has been agreed for Batshuayi to move to La Liga for the rest of the season.

However, the agreement was dependent on Chelsea signing a new striker, and it must be said the Blues may be keener on selling the player if he doesn’t fit into Antonio Conte’s plans.
