Bayern Munich are demanding €60m (£53.4m) from Chelsea to sell midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to W Radio Colombia journalist Pipe Sierra.

The Blues are said to have entered negotiations with the Bundesliga giants about a potential deal for the 30 year old, and have placed an initial offer on the table of €37m (£32.9m), €23m (£20.5m) less than Bayern’s asking price.

It means Chelsea and Bayern are quite far apart on their valuation of the player if the report from W Radio Colombia is to be believed.

Although it may be strange for a Colombian radio network to have the inside scoop on a Chilean international’s transfer, W Radio did use to have a network in Chile. Whether that means their information is more accurate, we will have to wait and see.

There is no doubt that Blues manager Antonio Conte is a massive fan of Vidal. The Italian has spoken glowingly about the midfielder in recent days, and managed him for two years while the pair were at Juventus.
