Atletico Mineiro are interested in signing Chelsea’s young Brazilian winger Nathan, according to UOL Esporte.
The 21 year old is currently on loan at Ligue One side Amiens until the end of the season, but has played just three times for the French club.
Nathan has not made an appearance for the Blues despite signing from Atletico Paranaense for £3.6m back in 2015. He was sent to feeder side Vitesse Arnhem for his first season in Europe, but he was then loaned to Amiens for a chance to play at a higher level.
The switch has not pay dividends for the Brazilian Under 20 international so far, having made the match day squad on just three occasions for league matches, and having played just nine minutes in Ligue One.
A recall for Nathan is therefore not out of the question and Brazilian Serie A side Atletico Mineiro are looking to take advantage of the situation.
The club’s sporting director Alexandre Gallo is a fan of the midfielder after having managed Brazil’s Under 20 side between 2013 and 2015, when he called up the Chelsea starlet.
