Lokomotiv Moscow are the latest club to register their interest in signing Chelsea left back Kenedy on loan, according to Globo Esporte.

The Brazilian news outlet reports the Russian club are hopeful of signing the 21 year old as they look to seal their first league title since 2002.  The Brazilian has also been linked with a move to Ligue One side Saint-Etienne with the club’s manager Oscar Garcia requesting the player as a January recruit.

The news of of a further two clubs entering the race for Kenedy will be of particular concern to Newcastle United. The Evening Standard reported last week that the Magpies had secured a first refusal option on the Brazilian. Whether that is securely in the place, we will have to wait and see.

Chelsea are unlikely to let the Brazilian leave next month if the club do not sign a new left back to offer competition to Marcos Alonso. The Blues remain interested in Juventus’s Alex Sandro, and have also been linked with Porto’s Alex Telles and Augsburg’s Philipp Max over the past few weeks.
