AC Milan will not make a move for Watford forward Richarlison next month despite taking note of the Brazilian’s exceptional start to the season in the Premier League, reports Calciomercato.com.
Chelsea and Tottenham have also been following the 20 year old’s progress with interest but the Rossoneri are said to have turned down the chance to sign the player even though the Brazilian has impressed them in the first half of the season.
Watford manager Marco Silva has admitted that Richarlison could well move on to a bigger club in the future, but for the time being he expects him to perform while he is at Vicarage Road:
“I want everyone in the club to work hard and if they achieve something else in their careers, then that’s normal. I’m realistic. While they are at Watford they need to give 100 per cent. To do well in their careers is fantastic for us as a club and also for the player.”
Chelsea did attempt to sign the winger in the summer, but he decided to make the switch to the Hornets instead. The move has so far paid off with the player having scored five goals and provided four assists in 14 league games, playing mostly wide on the left.
