Paris Saint-Germain are considering making a massive €170m (£150m) offer for Lazio attacking midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.
The astronomical offer comes off the back of rumours earlier this week that Chelsea were lining up a €80m (£70.9m) bid for the 22 year old. The playmaker is certainly in high demand with the Corriere Dello Sport also suggesting both Manchester United and Manchester City are pursuing the midfield player.
PSG’s proposal is not formal, but sources close to Lazio president Claudio Lotito have told the Italian newspaper that the interest from PSG is genuine, and that the French club will be assessing how they could make such a bid in the next few months.
Bear in mind that the Ligue One side could be fined heavily by UEFA if they don’t meet the requirements of Financial Fair Play. The club are said to be considering sales for the likes of Lucas Moura, Angel Di Maria, Goncalo Guedes and Javier Pastore to make up for the signings of Neymar, and for Mbappe next summer when his loan move is made permanent. Another huge outlay on Milinkovic-Savic does not look feasible at the moment, but we will have to wait and see.
