Atletico Madrid could sell winger Yannick Carrasco for €50m (£44m) in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish website reports that Chelsea, along with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool, may consider bids for the 24 year old when the window opens next month.

Carrasco has fallen out of favour under manager Diego Simeone and El Gol reported last week that the Argentinian coach was considering a bid for Chelsea’s Willian in order to replace both the Belgian international and Nico Gaitan.

The Atletico winger started the season in the first team, and was in excellent form with three goals and two assists in his first six league starts of the campaign. However, since his return from a knee injury in November, he has had to make do with a place on the bench.

The Blues have been linked with Carrasco on a number of occasions over the past year, but it is doubtful that the wide man would be top of manager Antonio Conte’s wishlist for January. The Evening Standard report that another winger Thomas Lemar, and Everton midfielder Ross Barkley are top of the Italian’s transfer priorities when the window opens next week.
