Bournemouth are lining up a loan bid for Chelsea right back Dujon Sterling, according to the Sun journalist Mike McGrath.

The 18 year old made his debut for the Blues this season, in the Carabao Cup tie against Nottingham Forest back in September, and was named on the bench for the 4-0 win over Qarabag in the Champions League last month.

Before Sterling signed a new contract back in November, it was feared that he could leave the Blues and it meant any loan switch at the start of the season was unlikely.

Now with the defender’s long term future set to be with Chelsea, it seems that manager Antonio Conte is willing to let him go out on loan for the remainder of the season.

Sterling won the European Under 19 championships with England in the summer, and it seems he won’t be short of suitors with Bournemouth keen to utilise his talents as they battle for Premier League survival.
