Chelsea sending scouts to monitor in form Bundesliga wide man

Chelsea are keeping an eye on Borussia Monchengladbach winger Thorgan Hazard, according to Bild.

The younger brother of Eden, the Belgian international has had an excellent start to the season for Gladbach. In 13 league games, the midfielder has scored an impressive five goals and contributed another five assists.

The 24 year old was also previously a Chelsea player between 2012 and 2015. He joined Gladbach on an initial season long loan deal back in 2014 before sealing an €8million transfer to the Bundesliga in the summer of 2015.

There is no doubt that Thorgan is in the form of his life at the moment. He is already just one league goal behind the most he has scored in one season for Gladbach (six for the German side last campaign).

If he were to re-join the Blues, he would play not only alongside Eden but his younger brother Kylian as well, who signed from Hungarian side Ujpest FC back in August to play for Chelsea’s under 23 side.
