Chelsea will have to move fast if they still want to sign Richmond Boakye in the January transfer window, with Ghanasoccernet reporting that no less than three teams have placed bids for the Red Star Belgrade striker.

The website says it believes Turkish champions Besiktas, Belgian champions Anderlecht and Ligue One side Rennes have all already made offers between €7m (£6.2m) and €9m (£8m) for the 24 year old.

Boakye is believed to be on the list of strikers that Blues manager Antonio Conte has targeted to sign next month, after an impressive season where he has already scored 23 goals for Red Star.

The Ghanaian international has worked for Conte before at Juventus and recently stated his interest in working with the Italian again. Chelsea will have to be proactive if they want the forward. Anderlecht are said to have offered €6m, Rennes €7m and Besiktas a loan deal with an option to buy for €9m at the end of the season.
