Four Premier League teams are to battle it out to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshauyi on loan, according to the Independent (via ELF Voetbal).

West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Stoke City are believed to be all lining up offers for the 24 year old in the January transfer window, with the forward reportedly not part of the club’s future plans.

The Sun reported over the weekend that Batshuayi will be offloaded next month after failing to convince Blues manager Antonio Conte that he has the ability to make it at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian international failed to make it off the bench on on Saturday, despite Chelsea needing a goal after falling behind earlier on to a Marko Arnautovic strike against West Ham. The Blues slumped to a fourth defeat of the season; just one fewer than the whole of last campaign when they won the Premier League title.
