Chelsea can sign Juventus’s Alex Sandro for £53m after the Serie A champions set their asking price for the Brazilian international.

The Sun reported earlier this week that Juve would hold out for closer to £60m for the defender, but Tuttosport report the figure is €60m or £53m. The club are keen for the left back to leave Turin early in the transfer window so they can finance a move for a replacement.

The Bianconeri are reportedly targeting either Roma’s Emerson Palmieri or Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian. If they choose the latter, it could be a problem for the Blues.

Manchester United are also believed to be chasing Sandro, and it could lead them to offering Darmian in part exchange for the Brazilian. Whether that will come to pass, we will have to wait and see.

Sandro has been Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s number one target since the summer, and the Blues will have to move quickly if they want to land the 26 year old, with other teams now also showing interest in the full back.
