Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar’s agent says the Slovakian has not taken any notice of reports linking him with a move away from the Italian club.

The Sun reported that Chelsea have been scouting the centre back, while Calciomercato have suggested that Manchester City could make a move for the 22 year old.

When asked about the rumours by FC Inter News (translated by Football-Italia.net), Karol Csonto denied that the centre half had had his head turned by interested clubs:

“Regarding the interest of ‘top teams,’ I’ll say that he doesn’t want to discuss the rumours. He is totally focused on Inter and we know there is still a lot of work to take forward.”

Although Csonto is certainly not confirming that clubs are pursuing the Slovakian international, he is not denying the interest with his response either.

The player only signed from Sampdoria for €23m in the summer so angling for a move in public would not be a good decision. However, the player’s performances for Inter since his arrival have been exceptional. His partnership with Joao Miranda at the heart of the Serie A side’s defence has yielded just 14 goals in 18 games this season.
