Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has responded to speculation that a host of European teams are scouting him.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport report that Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Monaco have all asked for reports on the Serbian international, and that a number of these teams were in the stands yesterday to watch him, along with Juventus. Asked about the presence of scouts after the 3-3 draw against Atalanta, the 22 year old replied:
“Observers? I do not care, I am at Lazio and signed for Lazio.”
Milinkovic-Savic would have impressed onlookers with his performance, scoring two goals as Lazio secured a point to stay fifth in Serie A. The Italian club actually went 2-0 down in the first half, but the central midfield player grabbed himself a brace before half time to bring his team back level.
Last week, a Rai Sport pundit reported that Chelsea were preparing an €80million offer for the attacking midfielder, but La Gazzetta reports that Lazio own Claudio Lotito would demand €100m (£88m) to sell the highly rated Serb.
